RITUALS FOR THE THURSDAY FAST.

This story is connected with Thursday Fast. Devotees listen to this story before breaking their fast. On the day of the fast only one meal is to be taken. They also worship Vrihaspati Mahadeva or Jupiter. They wear yellow clothes and shower yellow flowers. Meals with yellow color are preferred – gramdal. One should not eat salt. Food items are made with yellow-colored cow’s ghee. Doing this fast Lord Vrihaspati is happy. You get wealth and knowledge; this fast is essential for women. Women worship the banana tree and water it.
