Sathya Sai Baba has been a name to conjure with in different parts of
the world. An enchanting bhajan composer and singer. A World Teacher,
unexcelled educator of the vital, a yogishwara pressing an amazing variety
of talent and capacity into service for the fulfillment of His mission.
A kalpataru or a wish fulfilling tree for His devotees, the very avatar
of Love, the voice of one’s own innermost heart speaking to each individual
externally. A universal presence to be felt and known, a promoter of
the unity of world religions and of a philosophy that embraces Matter
and Spirit, He is easily the most colorful and multifaceted prophet
that modern India has produced. Several antinomies meet and mingle and
are reconciled in His personality the most significant pair being one
of Solitude and Multitude.
His
greatest miracle is the Power to Transform. It takes ages to bring about
an iota of change in a person’s attitude and vision, inspite of being
close to Him. But Bhagawan Sathya Sai Baba can transfix and bring about
a complete metamorphosis in the human personality in a jiffy through
a mere smile, a word or a gesture. That is the supreme sign of Divinity.
His most extraordinary feat is that He apparently leads one of the most
routine life ever lived by any person. Boredom never seems to afflict
Him, on the contrary He performs the same actions of walking amidst
His devotees, receiving their letters, speaking a word of solace each
time with renewed enthusiasm and joy. Each Darshan of His is unique.
He is an Ocean of Love.
Man is now moonstruck; monstrous machines enslave him and nations are
growling at each other. The only hope or beacon of Light is Bhagawan
Sathya Sai Baba who has come to confer Prashanthi on all hearts by lovingly
weeding out the thorny bushes of lust, anger, greed, pride and hatred.
He is the Embodiment of Divine Love and can be known and adored through
Love only. His Love and concern for mankind has led to the building
of phenomenal Institutions in the fields of Education, Medicine and
infrastructure which now act as role models. Glorious and momentous
events have taken shape in the span of 75 years. His mission would be
further unveiled to glorious heights in the years to come and the whole
of mankind would have an opportunity to bask in His Glory and experience
His Divinity.
