A] BY AIR : One can fly directly from Mumbai to Bangalore or Puttaparthi
directly. Sri Sathya Sai Airport is 5 kms away from Prashanthi Nilayam.
Regular service of flights is available to Mumbai and Chennai when Baba
stays at Prashanthi Nilayam. Presently there are bi-weekly flights by
Indian Airlines from Mumbai to Puttaparthi.
B] BY TRAIN: Nearest railway station is Dharmavaram. Bus service
from Dharmavaram Railway Station connecting all-important express trains
are there from morning 4.30am till late midnight. Prashanthi Nilayam
is just 45kms away from Dharmavaram. Now about 8kms away we have the
Prashanthi Nilayam Railway Station where the Prashanthi – Bangalore
Express operates everyday from Bangalore to Puttaparthi and back. The
train leaves Bangalore at 6.45am and reaches at 10.30am at Prashanthi
Nilayam Railway station. It leaves from there at 4.30pm and arrives
at Bangalore 8.30pm.

the trains being diverted from Dharmavaram to Sai Railway Station. The
trains from Mumbai - Udyan Express. The train to Delhi - Karnataka Express,
Rajdhani Express. The Vizagapatnam Express leaving Bangalore at 2.00pm
connects the Prashanthi Express. Sai Railway Station will soon have
all the major trains stopping at the station for the benefit of all
the devotees.
C] BY BUS: Frequent Bus services are available throughout the
day. KSRTC Buses [Govt.] from Bangalore Majestic Bus station [opposite
the Bangalore City railway station] start at 8.00am, 10.00am, 11.45am,
3.00pm and 5.00pm daily. Prashanthi Nilayam is just 180kms from Bangalore.
Taxis can be arranged. Prashanthi Nilayam is well connected to most
towns and cities in Southern India by comfortable Deluxe/Luxury and
State Government Buses.
